Beulah Trey, PhD

CEO | Founder

Dr. Beulah Trey, the founder of Vector Group, is a licensed psychologist. She is expert at transforming organizations, leaders, and teams to navigate the unpredictable, informal side of organizational life through a values-based approach. Her work consistently leads to stronger, more effective leaders, and more engaged employees with sophisticated relationship skills - who together are more effective at creating innovative approaches to achieving their goals.

She leads workshops throughout the nation. Her recent publication, Turning Mission-Based Academic Department Leaders into Leadership Teams: A Case Study in Creating Value, can be viewed on the New England Journal of Medicine-Harvard Business Review collaborative website on Leading Health Care Innovation.


Beulah is a Team STEPPS Master Trainer and has taught in Wharton’s MBA program, the Aresty Institute, and the Medical College of South Carolina. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. In 2005, she co-founded Mussar Pathways Institute to promote ethical character development. Beulah is an ICF-certified Coach, is certified in Positive Psychology and in numerous assessments, and holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Swarthmore College.

Elizabeth Blaylock, MBA

Master Change Designer

Elizabeth Blaylock helps mission-driven organizations develop and implement effective strategies to achieve their goals. She works collaboratively with leaders to understand important strategic choices and make connections between organizational design and strategic outcomes.

As a coach, Elizabeth works with leaders to cultivate their innate leadership voice to better meet their professional and organizational goals.

Elizabeth has more than 20 years of experience as a management consultant and coach, working with leading organizations in healthcare, education, and other related industries. She began her consulting career with McKinsey and Company and then joined CFAR, where she led the Academic Medicine and Strategy Practices. She has served as a manager and leader in mission-driven organizations, most recently as Vice President for Strategic Learning and Development at Christiana Care Health System, and prior to that as the Senior Vice President for Programs at American Board of Internal Medicine.

Elizabeth holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management, and a Master’s in International Relations from Yale University. She earned her BA magna cum laude from Harvard University.

Shirley Brown, DMD, PhD

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Shirley Brown, a dentist and licensed clinical psychologist, expertly coaches executives and physician leaders to achieve their leadership goals. She brings her clinical mastery to Vector Group as our coach supervisor.

Her strongly individualized coaching work, informed by decades of experience on both hospital services and private-practice teams, has been described as precise, sensitive, and transformative. This dual training and clinical background provide Shirley with a deep, personal understanding of the challenges faced by clinicians across a range of medical-practice settings. In addition, she has undergone advanced training in mindfulness-based approaches, which inform Shirley’s coaching and team-development work. A vital member of the Vector Group team, she conducts her coaching within a coordinated framework of team development and with a focus on organizational culture.

Shirley served for decades as an attending clinician on the surgical and medical staffs of the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA [now part of Drexel University], and established and directed psychological services for a large oncology group at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, PA. She is currently clinical director of Rittenhouse Collaborative, a multidisciplinary behavioral-health practice in Center City Philadelphia. 

She holds MS and PhD degrees in clinical psychology from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Shirley received an MS in education and her DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania after completing her BA at Barnard College, Columbia University.

Weylin Burlingame, PhD, LCSW

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Weylin Burlingame, a licensed clinical social worker, brings 20 years of supporting individuals, groups and organizations using systems and strengths­-based perspectives as a facilitator, instructor, coach, and therapist. He uses his educational background and training to bring rigorous critical thought, reliance on evidence-based solutions, and generation of novel approaches to innovation, change, and development opportunities. He has experience working with a managed health care company, collaborating with medical systems as a provider, and in working with organizations with complex missions.

 

Weylin is a part-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania where he teaches graduate courses on group dynamics, organizational politics, and leadership dynamics. He also teaches human resources courses at the University of Texas at El Paso as an adjunct faculty member.

 

As a lifelong learner, Weylin is trained in Experiential Learning, Appreciative Inquiry, developing leadership through Emotional Intelligence, and is currently working toward certification through the International Coaching Federation.

 

He holds a PhD in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University, an MSW from University of Pennsylvania, and he completed his BA in Psychology and Sociology at Bucknell University.

Jeanne DiVincenzo, PsyD

Director of Practice and Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Jeanne DiVincenzo has over 30 years of experience as an expert in strategy and organizational development that she parlayed into leadership development and executive coaching. Her background in business, healthcare and academic sectors, with her grounding in psychology gives her an in-depth understanding of the systemic, organizational and interpersonal issues that arise in in those settings, and a powerful ability to assist clients to gain mastery of those issues. 

Jeanne’s experience in business leadership and management includes having served as Executive Vice President of a global marketing communications agency. After becoming a clinical psychologist, she joined the faculty of a doctoral program, served as an Adjunct Faculty in a graduate healthcare sciences institution, been Managing Director in a behavioral healthcare organization and been an internal and external consultant in a variety of institutional and academic settings, conducting assessments, leadership development and training, program development, mediation and strategic planning. 

Jeanne is an accomplished speaker on topics such as skillful communications in teams, mindfulness for business, and diversity awareness. She is known for her warm, collaborative and engaged style in her coaching and consulting work, which motivates others to obtain self-awareness, positive change and growth. She is adept at helping leaders become more skillful in their interpersonal communications, and assisting teams and dyads to gain proficiency in productive dialogue around critical issues.

Jeanne holds a PsyD in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College and a BA from University of Rochester. She has attended numerous workshops and trainings on leadership development, coaching, becoming a resilient leader, and on assessment methods and instruments for employee selection and development. She is certified on the Caliper for leadership assessment and selection and on the Hogan Personality Assessments for Leadership Development and Talent Acquisition. She is a longstanding member of Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and has served on numerous committees, including Multiculturalism and Psychology in Business, where she served as chair.

Lucy Fine, RN, LMFT

Senior Executive Coach

 

Lucy Fine has over three decades of professional experience. She began her professional career as a registered nurse and midwife and then transitioned to team leader negotiating contracts for nurses. In private practice as a psychotherapist, group facilitator and later as an executive leadership coach she has worked in global companies, healthcare, government and not-for-profit organizations, as well as in the national science laboratories. 

 

For the past 18 years Lucy has been coaching individuals and teams to achieve high-performance decision-making and competency dealing with the emotions contributing to team collaboration. The foundation of her work is a system-centered approach, providing clients with a developmental map for clarity, accountability and commitment. Fostering emotional and collaborative intelligence, she facilitates mastery in leading difficult conversations and enhancing embodied leadership and skillful presence. In addition, she attributes much of her own expert skill to decades of martial arts, yoga and somatic-mindfulness training.

 

Lucy earned a BA from Antioch College, a BS in Nursing and Certificate of Public Health from UCSF, and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from JFK University. She was a fellow at SF State in Integrated Service Technology – a program to support wrap-around health services in the public school systems. She received her coaching certification as well as an advanced leadership development certification from the Coaches Training Institute.

 

Lucy has served as an adjunct faculty member at UCSF School of Medicine, JFK University and New College. She was on the Board of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association and a longstanding member of System-Centered Training and Research Institute, the Northern CA Group Psychological Association, CA Marriage and Family Therapists Association and University of California SF Nursing Alumni Association.

Rivka Geoghegan

Senior Executive Coach

Rivka Geoghegan has 20 years expertise as a private practice psychotherapist. She has worked deeply and extensively with couples, families and individuals and offers a keen awareness of relational patterns and dynamics. Her focus is to transform unhealthy relational cycles into ones based on strengths and optimization. She is attuned to the various components that make systems function well and is an expert on communication styles, roles and group cultural norms that limit the dynamism of an organization.

 

As an executive coach, Rivka blends the depth of her psychotherapy background with helping clients meet their professional goals. Engaging in transformative and forward thinking dialogue, Rivka works experientially to create lasting change. Her skill set includes facilitating groups, teaching,  and creating streamlined curriculum to enhance personal growth. Rivka focuses on leadership and emotional intelligence development. She has a warm, authentic style that enables her to form strong, trusting relationships. She helps clients streamline their intentions by focusing in quickly on salient issues. 

 

She has been a long time practitioner of meditation and mindfulness and offers an array of tools to help teach and foster awareness in others. Her work is dynamic, integrating psychological depth, spiritual awareness and business coaching. 

 

Rivka’s career previous to therapy was as a tech recruiter during the original dot.com boom.  She received her masters from JFK University and co-launched a successful therapy center serving the Berkeley community and beyond. She brings many years experience as a mentor, consultant and supervisor. She’s a certified coach through the UC Berkeley /Haas School of Business Executive Coaching Institute and works with clients from Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple and others. Her passions are travel, live music, adventures and motherhood.

Catherine Hambley, PhD

Senior Consultant and Executive Coach

Dr. Catherine Hambley is a psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with people to promote effective and lasting change, improve relationship skills, and overcome obstacles to success. In her work as a consulting psychologist, Catherine translates relevant neuroscience into practical applications that help leaders and organizations achieve success by leveraging their people’s best thinking, effective communication, collaboration, and engagement. She has served as a strategic business partner to leaders, executive teams and organizations that are looking to enhance their effectiveness and ensure the success of their people and their companies. Her work focuses on facilitating meaningful and lasting change.

 

As both an internal and external consultant, Catherine has worked across a broad set of industries and organizations, including Fortune 100 companies, health care (her background), agriculture, education, government agencies (including the Federal Drug Administration), privately held businesses, start-up companies, and non-profit organizations. She provides executive coaching, designs and delivers leadership development programs, facilitates teams, and conducts strategic planning sessions. She has presented on topics related to brain-based leadership and stress-resiliency for organizations and professional conferences. Catherine also served as adjunct faculty for the International MBA program at Middlebury Institute of International Studies where she taught an experiential leadership course and is on the teaching staff at California State University, Monterey Bay’s Extended Education Program (offering leadership development programs). Catherine is a regular contributor to the Physician Practice Journal, where she writes about practical strategies to enhance personal resiliency, leadership, communication, and relationship skills for physicians. 

 

Catherine lives in Monterey, California, where her children and grandchildren reside. She enjoys the outdoors and is an avid cyclist and hiker.

Stephen D. Husband, PhD

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Stephen Husband has been a coach and consultant for more than 20 years.  He is a licensed psychologist trained as a clinician in the scientist/practitioner model. During his early career, he taught in university and medical school settings and worked with medical and graduate students. Along with writing Federal grants, he also served as a grant investigator and on Federal grant-review committees. Steve later built a successful clinical and consulting practice with a partner, eventually leaving to pursue coaching and consulting full time. 

 

Steve has worked in a broad spectrum of sectors and organizations.  His clients have described him as a thinking partner who works with them to assess their situations and needs, explore options, and identify ways to move forward productively. Having an approachable and easygoing manner, Steve believes that different people can be effective utilizing different work and leadership styles. Believing that balance is essential, he partners with his clients to identify and leverage their strengths, along with identifying and addressing their developmental needs and challenges. He coaches individuals ranging from early-stage managers to the C-suite, and also is a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

 

Along with leadership-development coaching, Steve has expertise in on-boarding coaching, a process for advising recently promoted or newly hired managers and leaders through the often-tricky months of a new position. Steve also enjoys the challenge of working with individuals who need to adjust counterproductive aspects of their workplace or management behavior. 

 

Steve earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University (now part of Drexel University), an MA in Clinical Psychology from Temple University, and a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. In 1996, Steve was honored with the Alumnus of the Year award from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University. He is certified as a Coach by the College of Executive Coaching and has earned both the SPHR and SCP designations from HRCI and SHRM, respectively.  He also is certified in a number of assessment instruments.

Jonathan Jordan began his career in the Himalayan kingdom where the Buddha was born. Currently, he is an executive coach, behavioral-health thought leader, keynote speaker, and published author with 30+ years of experience improving human performance and clients' leadership skills.


Jonathan has been a leader in the behavioral health industry and Fortune 500 corporations where he led change-management and organizational-development initiatives that allow organizations to achieve greater effectiveness in their strategies, structures, and processes.


As an executive coach, Jonathan draws upon his background and experience in neuroscience, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and other emerging concepts to enhance client outcomes. He has delivered 12,000+ hours of one-on-one coaching to C-level executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs. In addition, he has hosted 2,500+ hours of keynote addresses and seminars and facilitated in-house human performance improvement events on four continents. The United States Senate engaged Jonathan to deliver professional development workshops to Senate Staff.

 

Having lived and worked in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America and conducted business in more than 127 countries, Jonathan thrives in cross-cultural situations. 


Multilingual, Jonathan is author of Brain Matters in Business: A Collection of Articles About Using Neuroscience to Work Smarter (2013), and 7 Practices to Greatly Improve Your Brain: Mindfully Change How You Live, Work, and Play to be published next year. 


Jonathan is a licensed psychotherapist and certified behavior analyst with a Master of Science in Social Work with an emphasis in Psychotherapy from Florida State University. Jonathan is a member of the Society for Social Neuroscience and a faculty fellow of Florida State University.

Tamara Lyn, PhD

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Tamara Lyn (Tammy) has applied her unique experience and insights into all aspects of leadership and professional development during decades of service in high intensity correctional settings. Tammy served in a variety of clinical and executive leadership roles in corrections, culminating in the role of Warden, where she was one of a very small cohort of women in the position. ​

Tammy's coaching focuses on professional growth for people in high impact, high stakes leadership roles, taking a strengths-based approach to address both internal system dynamics and the interface with external stakeholders and customers.​

Working as a Warden during a global pandemic, Tammy developed deep insights into crisis management for teams and individuals, emphasized responsivity to public interest regulators, fostered psychological safety, and taught skills for resilience and learning agility.​

Tammy holds a Masters and a PhD in psychology from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated with honors from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges. She holds the prestigious Certified Correctional Executive credential from the American Correctional Association, has published in peer reviewed academic journals, and was elected by American Psychological Association members to a seat on the APA Board of Directors for the 2022-2024 term. Tammy is among a highly selective group certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology as a specialist in organizational and business consulting psychology. Based on her training, experience, and performance, Tammy is also certified by the International Coaching Federation as an Associate Certified Coach, adhering to the Federation's practice guidelines and ethics standards.

Dr. Michelle Lynskey’s expertise and insight into people and organizations are grounded in her 25+ years of experience in coaching and organizational development.  She has coached and consulted to senior leaders and leadership teams during periods of significant change, including CEO transitions, mergers, restructuring, and turnarounds.  She is passionate about helping individuals and groups develop key insights that, when acted on, lead to powerful personal change and performance improvements.  
 
Michelle received her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Rice University and holds a variety of professional certifications in the field. Most relevant to her focus on clear communication as a key performance differentiator, she is certified in the SAVI® method, which focuses on systematic analysis of what makes conversations succeed or fail.  She is a licensed psychologist and member of the Systems-Centered Training and Research Institute, American Psychological Association, and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Irene McHenry, PhD

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Irene McHenry, is a licensed psychologist and educator with decades of experience in leadership development and executive coaching. She brings her passion for pedagogy to Vector Group by directing our training programs. Irene designed and continues to direct the premiere leadership-development program for Friends Council on Education, and is passionate about and excels at developing programs for diverse populations.

As a founding faculty member of the Fielding Graduate University's doctoral program in Educational Leadership and Change, Irene worked with the administration to design and implement the curriculum and the mentorship program for underserved adult populations. She was the founding Head of Delaware Valley Friends School, designing the school for adolescents with learning disabilities and creating a unique program for faculty professional development and parent education, to meet students’ needs. She also was co-founder of Greenwood Friends School, the only independent school in its rural region, and she served as adjunct faculty at Lincoln University, an historically Black college. Irene served as a Senior Investigator for the Mind and Life Summer Research Institute; was the Lead Investigator on the National Moral Education Research Project, and currently serves as a consultant to a research project and treatment manual design for the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute.

Irene received her BA from Susquehanna University, her MS from Bucknell University, and her MA and PhD in human and organizational development from Fielding Graduate University. She serves on the board of managers for Haverford College, the founding board of the Mindfulness in Education Network, and is past president of the board of the Council for American Private Education.

Theresa Miller, PhD

Senior Executive Coach

Dr. Theresa Miller has been helping people and organizations achieve success for over 25 years through organizational development, executive coaching, consulting, facilitation, and leadership design and development. Theresa is committed to leadership excellence and uses her skills and experience to awaken others to their true potential, inspiring them to achieve their highest aspirations.  

A former Director of Leadership Effectiveness at UCLA, Theresa specializes in design and delivery of training in leadership development, performance management, team effectiveness, and diversity and inclusion. Her work in the field of leadership development includes coaching and training at all levels of organizations. Working with clients in the US, Europe, Asia, and Canada, Theresa has provided executive coaching and leadership development to leaders in commercial, government, higher education, and non-profit settings.

Theresa Miller has a Masters in Counseling from University of Cincinnati, and a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in organizational behavior from Union Institute and University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in leadership development and is certified by the International Coach Federation.

Cassie Solomon, MBA

Master Change Designer

Cassie Solomon is a highly-experienced organizational development and strategy consultant. She is the founder and president of The New Group Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping leaders design and implement successful change.

 

Cassie's engagements focus on organizational design, workforce transformation and the introduction of new technology. As a consultant, she helps leaders accelerate specific change initiatives. Senior leaders and their teams need the ability to work across organizational boundaries in order to be successful. Cassie works with her global clients to enhance accountability and improve decision-making practices, facilitating complex stakeholder negotiations between divisions, departments and functions.

 

An internationally-recognized expert on the RACI project management tool, Cassie uses RACI to improve the performance of teams worldwide. She is the creator of RACI Solutions, a program and set of tools designed to enhance executives’ horizontal leadership skills and create high-performing cross-functional teams.

 

Some of her recent projects include restructuring a regional health care system into service lines, creating a future-proof strategy for a national association of fintech regulators, and supporting the creation of sales infrastructure for Twitter.

 

Her book, Leading Successful Change: 8 Keys to Making Change Work (revised edition, 2020), co-authored with Greg Shea and published by Wharton School Press, helps leaders successfully navigate the ever-increasing pace of change.

 

Cassie holds an MBA in Operations from Wharton School of Business, and a degree in Organizational Behavior from Yale University. She teaches at the Wharton School’s Aresty Institute for Executive Education. She is a certified futurist and blogs about disruptive technology and the future of work.

Felice Tilin, PhD

Master Coach and Change Consultant

 

Dr. Felice Tilin is President of GroupWorks Consulting, the Director of Graduate Programs in Organizational Development and Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University and is a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. A master coach and international change consultant, she specializes in working with multinational private, public and non-profit organizations, Universities and Healthcare Organizations.

 

Some of her most recent projects include strategic planning and implementation with a Fortune 50 US Investment Firm, leadership development for residents at a University Health System, developing HR Strategic Partners from fast growth companies based in China and a variety of executive coaching projects.

Felice holds a PhD in Organizational Development in Psycho Educational Process from Temple University and certifications from both International Coaching Federation and Gestalt Training Program. Her recent publications include Coaching From the Inside (2009) and The Interprofessional Healthcare Team: Leadership and Development (2013).

Rebecca Ward, LMFT

Senior Executive Coach

Rebecca Ward brings nearly 30 years of combined experience as an executive coach, licensed therapist, and management consultant. Working from these modalities across a broad range of industries, Rebecca draws upon her background and expertise in neuroscience, somatics, and integral and systems theories to help her clients produce lasting results. 

 

As a management consultant, Rebecca promotes accountability and commitment in leaders. Her kind and direct approach is a powerful combination in her coaching. Additionally, her ability to infuse interventions from her knowledge of neurophysiology ensures the change the leader achieves is fully embodied. Rebecca’s passion is to accelerate individual and team growth, enabling the transformation from teams of leaders to leadership teams.

 

As a lifelong learner, Rebecca has a multitude of certifications and more than two decades of post-graduate training from, among others, New Ventures West, The Leadership Circle, Somatic Experiencing, Enneagram Institute, and the Strozzi Institute. 

 

Rebecca holds Masters degrees in Business and Psychology from George Washington University and Marymount University, respectively. She is a licensed therapist in California and a Certified Professional Coach.

Mary Cervi joined Vector Group to support our CEO and the core services team with 10+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting CEOs, C-suites and their direct reports. Mary’s experience spans work in hospital administration and a fast-growing software company in varied and demanding roles.

Jessica Lofgren, CPA

Finance Lead

Jessica Lofgren provides financial management for Vector Group. A graduate of University of Richmond, her background includes service as a senior accounting consultant, providing outsourced accounting and financial services to diverse national and international clientele. Prior to joining Vector Group, she served as an accounting manager for a large financial outsourcing firm, working with small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Stephanie Lavorgna, MS

Associate Consultant

Stephanie Lavorgna brings 10 years of experience as a leader in both for-profit and nonprofit industry, a background in the laboratory sciences, professional work in Human Resources, and her own experience with entrepreneurship to Vector Group. Her passion lies in encouraging a people-oriented focus, balancing policy and process, and future-proofing organizational culture to support organizations through business challenges.

 

Her work includes implementing an enterprise-wide performance management process for a fintech company and consulting on a donor management platform for a nonprofit. She has experience supporting employees and leaders through organizational change and culture challenges.

 

Stephanie holds a Master of Business and Organizational Leadership from Neumann University and a BA in Biology from Drew University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds a SHRM-CP credential. Her laboratory work in radiation oncology is published in the journals Radiation Research, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, and Experimental and Molecular Therapeutics.
